My VMA’s Vision, Red Carpet

            Those of you who follow my blogs know by know I love my red carpet events. Maybe it’s  just me but I felt the VMA’s were a little wacky this year. In my opinion and over the years this is when celebrities can really show their edgy side, you know push the limits with their fashion attire. With that being said my top three picks in order are :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Iggy Azalea looked absolutely stunning in her Emilio Pucci dress, Salena needs to keep her stylist, they are doing her justice, especially in this vivacious Atelier Versace. Although she should have wore her hair up. Last, Miss Taylor the classic look always puts her in my top three. I must give all these ladies “2 Heels Up”.

On the other hand, I have to give three specific pieces a red carpet worthy, shout out.  In order left to right: Ellie Goulding wore a studded nude gown that was pretty swanky and just perfect for the VMA’S, but just wasn’t right for her. Rita Ora wore Alexandre Vauthier but the top part was not working for me on her. Her stylist should have altered it more for her look. Now I’m a shoe girl till I die and these black strappy boots are on point but are paired with the wrong dress.

“Sweet Marilyn”

Marilyn once stated that she didn’t care about money, she just wanted to be wonderful. I certainly wish she was still alive today because she did just that. Now, I can only speck for myself at this point but anyone who has passed on and have songs written about them, people emulating them, and a movie made about them, defiantly achieved their goal to be magnificent. Lets not forget that she was on the very first cover of Playboy and was coined the name, blond bomb shell.

Not to mention she is a fashion icon due to making voluptuous women feel good about themselves in their clothes. Miss Monroe showed everyone curv-a-lish-ious women can still be sexy.  It has been said she took the world from monochromatic to techno colorful. I am sure that has to due with the fact that back then, things were a lot more conservative and Marilyn was the exact opposite. I love the fact that she did not care what people thought, she lived her life for her, the best way she knew how.     So much in fact, that even now we, [as in decades] keep her alive. You can find some great books and things at Target and to all you back to school shoppers don’t forget to check out Macy’s juniors collection paying homage to her. As you can see some of the pieces of appeal do have some similarities. Fashion is insp…

“Fashion is inspiration,

I was inspired to write this quote when I made a fashion journal. I must give myself “Two stiletto heels up” because this just came to me in a matter of seconds. I really felt I should share it with all my fashionista’s of the world.

Shoe Stop

Every week, or even a month, I will see some shoes that makes  me stop in my tracks. It could be the smallest attribute to it’s sexy appeal. Shoes are a love of mine, so much that I have decided if I cannot purchase them, someone should.
